Campus Solidarity

University campuses played a pivotal role in Jina’s Uprising. The widespread response to the call of Woman, Life, Freedom/Jin, Jiyan, Azadi across universities marked an unprecedented moment of political mobilization in contemporary Iranian student movements, though has also met with equally unprecedented state repression and violence.

This page documents campus solidarity actions during the 2022–2023 academic year. Drawing from student-shared statements, photos, videos, and reports circulated through Telegram channels, it traces the unfolding debates, protests, and acts of resistance across six universities: Amirkabir University of Technology, Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Tabriz University of Medical Science, Tehran University & Tehran University of Medical Science, and University of Kurdistan.
